Event organization for an improvisation theatre match at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart

For this project we organized an improvisation theatre match between two impro groups from Stuttgart and Munich, which was attended by over 300 people on March 5th 2006 at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. The impro match is related to the format »theatresports«, invented by the famous Canadian impro and acting teacher Keith Johnstone, and it is structured like a sports match. For the design of the campaign we decided to relate to Otl Aicher's pictograms, showing the different disciplines within the match. Furthermore, the campaign's forming and colouring is based on the association with team and field sports, as they are for example played on green grass and trainers coach their team with tactic scribbles.

The whole campaign was silk-screened by us in our school, including the programms, press kits, postcards, stickers and posters. Afterwards we spread the posters and cards all over Stuttgart.
